Quetzalli

Artists name: Jesus Torralba  (Heysus) & Lawson

This mural is titled Quetzalli (feather, precious thing) . A quetzal is a beautiful bird from Mexico and Central America. Heysus painted The woman in the mura. The woman is wearing a headdress that’s representing and honoring that sacred quetzal bird. A sound scroll is exiting her mouth to represent words. The sound scroll is gold to show how important and rich her words are. Lawson painted the blue rippling calligraphy helping amplify the sound scroll.
